Richland County HCE Serving Community by Sewing Masks

At a time when our community is struggling with a rapidly spreading illness and uncertainty, this group steps forward to help in any way they can. While staying safe, the Richland County HCE members used their skills to fill an urgent need- sewing masks to distribute to the surrounding areas.

Freezer and Crock Pot Meals: The Basics

Time runs away from all of us at some point. Is it meal time and you are struggling to remember what you have in your house to fix? Do you have this to go with that? Is there enough of that to make this? A one night class with our Family Living Agent, Chelsea Wunnicke, on Freezer and Crock Pot Meals: The Basics helps to take the panic out of dinner time.

The Richland County Resource Directory is a great tool to find resources that are very helpful to the Richland County area. In the directory you will find information to assist you in Child Care Assistance, Employment, Housing Assistance, and Emergency Assistance just to name a few.

Holiday feasts are wonderful and bring memories of visiting relatives, places, times, and favorite dishes. Of course, our eyes always seem bigger than our stomachs. Healthy eating habits can help us to celebrate the holidays eating all our favorites but also keep us on track with good practices.
